Son of Ruth (Rose) and Joseph. He was born on the 17.12.1974 in Ramle, the youngest son of his parents, brother to Shlomo and Shlomit, a tall, handsome young man, attended Achva Elementary School and Ramle Lod Municipal School. In addition to his studies, he was a member of the Scouts movement.

Ronen grew up in a lively home, with a warm and loving family. He was a very active boy. From an early age he practiced judo and persisted in it for many years, until he joined the army. When he decided to learn to play music, he asked his parents to buy him a guitar, and on his own he learned to strum its strings. Ronen loved basketball very much and played every opportunity he had.

Three things were most important to Ronen: first of all the friends, his good friends with whom he spent most of his time, went out with them on trips and entertainment, together made dreams and planned their future. Their favorite game was Dungeons and Dragons – a game in which Ronen and his friends would enter the world of imagination and sit for hours trying to solve problems and perform things a person who had no part in the group could not understand.

The second most important thing for Ronen was his motorcycle. It was part of his dreams from an early age, and when he reached the right age he made the dream come true and bought a motorcycle. Ronen loved to ride his motorcycle, loved to feel the wind hit his face and ‘rip the road’, travel in Israel and the world and see new places.

And the last and inseparable part of Ronen was the comics he loved to paint. At any time, and wherever he was, Ronen made sure to have a page and a pencil, he took advantage of every available minute to draw and scrawl characters of comics heroes, including characters from ” Dungeons and Dragons ” Ronen also tried to write a book.

In August 1993 Ronen enlisted in the IDF, like his father and brother before him he began a combat path of the Nahal Brigade. But Ronen wanted not only to be a fighter, but also as a combat medic and save lives. After a great deal of effort, he was accepted to a combat paramedics course, where he was very successful and successfully completed. Ronen returned to his unit, and until the end of his regular service he served as a combat medic.

After his discharge from regular service, Ronen studied economics and business administration at the College of Management in Rishon Letzion. At the same time, he worked as a security guard, and later on he joined the court of justice Guard.
Ronen, who spent his whole life thinking of works with a motif of helping others, also tried his luck in the police, in the national detective unit. He passed the tests successfully, but all his plans were prematurely interrupted.

At the end of March 2002, before the begining of Operation Defensive Shield, Ronen was recruited to urgent reserve duty. He immediately arrived and was sent with his friends to fight in Samaria.

On April 9, 2002 Ronen fell in battle in Jenin. In a unit citation issued by OC Central Command Major General Yitzhak Eitan, he described the battle: “During the fighting in the Jenin refugee camp, as one of the forces advanced towards a house, fire opened from several directions towards the force. In the ensuing battle, thirteen commanders and soldiers fell. The soldiers of the force he encountered, and another force that came to assist in the operation, fought valiantly to rescue their injured comrades until they were rescued. Despite the casualties, the company continued to fight until the surrender of the refugee camp. In recognition of the values of adherence to the mission, courage, comradeship and comradeship, the Company is awarded a commendation medal by the OC Central Command. “
Until the last moment of his life Ronen continued to do what he had always believed in – to help save lives. He was killed by terrorists while trying to save the life of his friend, who was wounded a few minutes earlier.

Ronen was killed in the battle with: Major Oded Golomb, Captain Yaakov Azoulay, Captain Dror Bar, Lieutenant Eyal Yoel, Sergeant Major Tiran Arazi, Sergeant Major Avner Yaskov, Sergeant Yoram Levi, Sergeant Amit Busidan, Menashe Haba, Sergeant Shmuel Danny Meizlish, Sergeant Eyal Azouri and Lt.-Gen.
